people of the train
There was an old couple heading up to Seattle to visit their children.
We talked briefly about things to do in Seattle (chihuly glass museum, etc).
The man talked about his former career of medical illustration.
After a meandering conversation, he went on a hypothetical "if the human race died and aliens found our cell phones, they'd really see that as the proof we were smart; they'd say 'how could they have died when their whole planet was connected?'"
The rainy https://wobscale.social/media/MnSXrJL1BUxW3bK8GIM gray weather we're going through is great preparation for life in Seattle

The final configuration includes a helmet for the server (missed it during previous packing)
I like that the temporary terminal blog-like-thing has had one post in the last 5 years. (http://temporaryterminal.org/terminal-news/)

moving
My stuff is now all packed up and in storage. I feel like I've basically made it to Seattle already (even though I've still got a month and change of bouncing around first).
It was nice to see my stuff packed and know I still don't have *that* much stuff.
@omnipotens@linuxrocks.online Heya, I think linuxrocks may not be refreshing some remote avatars.
I updated mine a month ago I think, and the job should run daily, but it appears to still be stale on linuxrocks. Other instances show my current one just fine.
